Renewed & Sent

Why this Summit exists

Across Australia, many parishes are navigating a common pastoral reality.

  • Fewer people are engaging beyond the sacraments.
  • Burnout and isolation among parish leaders are real
  • Lack of clear and effective pathways for renewal

Yet in the midst of this reality, something else is also true: parish renewal is possible — and already happening.

Renewed & Sent exists because many parish leaders sense a longing for more, but are oftentimes unsure how or where to begin.

This summit was created to respond to that gap — to help parish leaders move from maintenance to mission, uncertainty to clarity, and from isolation to shared learning.

The goal is not to prescribe a single model, but to help leaders rediscover the missionary identity of the parish, gain clarity about next steps and support available to them, and return home with renewed hope for what God can do in their unique parish context.

A vision for a Church that's fully alive

Hosted in partnership with the Diocese of Wollongong and Divine Renovation, this summit builds on a proven model of parish renewal that has impacted thousands of parishes worldwide.

Our vision? A Church where:
🔹 Priests laity are empowered as apostolic leaders.

🔹 Parishes become places of encounter and transformation.

🔹 Evangelisation is not just a programme but a way of life.

If you long to see your parish fully alive in mission, this summit is for you.

Is this just for leaders?

What if I'm not a "leader"?

Here’s the truth: if you love the Church and want to see it thrive — you’re already leading.

You might not have a title. But if your heart burns for your parish to be alive in Christ — you’re a leader.

Too many Catholics sit back because they don’t think they’re “qualified.” But as the saying goes: God doesn’t call the qualified — He qualifies the called.

If you’ve ever wondered what your role in renewal could be…if you’ve ever felt too small or just unsure if this is really your place
